What's that odd white light I see off in the distance?  Oh, it must be the LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!  We're in the final stretch of the project now.  I've started installing the sink/diswasher cabinetry, and have milled & finished the gumwood quarter-round molding to finish off the floors (I'll post a picture....eventually).  A couple more weeks until the kitchen is back in operation, then maybe another week or two for punchlist stuff.

The base cabinets and fireslate countertop are in place (as is the sink).  The tilework around the countertop was finished yesterday (pic doesn't show it).  Also got one of the electrical circuits in this part of the kitchen back online, so we have real light in there now.  Getting close!

Well, it's pretty much done.  Still have some minor punchlist stuff to take care of (especially the false front for the dishwasher), but what you see in the pictures is a pretty much finished kitchen.  I'll post some side-by-side "before-n-after" pics once it's completely done.
